Ophthalmic Technicians' Meeting Set for Saturday May 15, 2010
On Saturday, May 15, 2010 SureVision Eye Centers is proud to host the annual Ophthalmic Technicians Meeting at the Comfort Inn Westport, in St. Louis. Each year this meeting draws technicians from the midwestern region to spend a day learning about new procedures and advanced skills to help with patient care in their practices.
Among this year's seminar speakers will be Greg Raeman, one of the top practice consultants in the US, sponsored by Allergan. Greg will give a featured presentation on Customer Service and the Changing Medicare Patient.
Dr. Ed Doisy will present "Pearls of History Taking and Refractometry".
Dr. Dan Walsh always provides helpful instruction to technicians and this year he will discuss Visual Field Testing.
The newest doctor to join SureVision, Dr. Shilpi Pradhan will give a presentation on the technicians role in the evaluation and measurement of patients with Ptosis.
Dr. Sean Mulqueeny will tell about the latest technology in evaluating patient with Tear Film Deficiency.
Dr. Lawrence Gans will explain some of the newest innovations in Surgery for Glaucoma and how technicians need to prepare patients to care for their eyes after surgery and how to manage their evaluations after surgery.
