Daniel Walsh, O.D.

Dr. Daniel Walsh has been working in eye care since 1979. He specializes in the management of ocular diseases and the co-management of refractive and cataract surgery. Dr. Walsh holds bachelor degrees in Music Education from Southeast Missouri State University and in Science, Data Processing from University College of Washington University – St. Louis. He then went on to graduate school and received his degree as Doctor of Optometry from University of Missouri-St. Louis, School of Optometry. Dr. Walsh holds TPA certification and is licensed to prescribe medications.

Following graduation, Dr. Walsh furthered his studies in several specialized externships, including ocular disease, contact lenses, primary care, co-management of LASIK and cataract surgery, and pediatric optometry.

Dr. Walsh was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Ophthalmic Lasers Award, and was the site coordinator for the national VISX FDA PRK study. Dr. Walsh has also had ophthalmic photos published in the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
