Sean P. Mulqueeny, O.D.

Sean P. Mulqueeny, O.D. graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri School of Optometry. He began practicing in 1991, and in 1993 he was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of the University.

Since that time, he has traveled the world teaching and speaking on many areas of optometry, including craniopharyngioma and refractive surgical procedures. Dr. Mulqueeny has been the recipient of many distinguished awards including the Award for Clinical Excellence in the Area of Ocular Disease and the Vision Service Plan Scholarship for Clinical Excellence. He specializes in the management of ocular diseases and the co-management of refractive and cataract surgery.

Dr. Mulqueeny holds Therapeutic Practice Act (TPA) in both Missouri and Illinois. He is a member of the Board of Optometric Society of St. Louis, and is also affiliated with the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, St. Louis Optometric Society, American Optometric Association/Contact Lens Section, and the MD/OD Contact Lens Foundation of St. Louis.

On a personal note, Dr. Mulqueeny is proud to be a native St. Louisan. He is a former College Soccer All American, and played professional soccer for the St. Louis Steamers in the early 1980s. Dr. Mulqueeny resides in Town and Country with his wife and his two sons.
