Advanced Technology

SureVision Eye Centers invests in the very latest surgical instruments, lasers, and diagnostic testing equipment available. From LASIK to cataract surgery to cosmetic surgery  to the treatment of glaucoma … SureVision Eye Centers leads the region in state-of-the-art technology. In 2003, the SureVision Laser Center - Midwest introduced CustomCornea to the St. Louis region.  This is the most advanced technique for performing laser refractive surgery approved for use in the USA.  By combining LADARWave analysis with customized LADARVision treatment, our doctors can reduce the distortions that cause glare and fuzzy vision in addition to correcting nearsightedness.  This has the ability to give your vision higher definition.  And in the St. Louis region, it is only available at SureVision Laser Center. 

In 2002, our doctors had the first Endoscopic Cyclophotocoagulation (ECP) laser for the treatment of glaucoma in the bistate region, and we introduced Conductive Keratoplasty (CK) to Saint Louis. ECP allows us to treat glaucoma at the time of cataract surgery. CK is an office procedure that uses gentle radio waves to reshape the cornea, allowing people over 45 who always had good vision without glasses or contact lenses to leave home without their reading glasses. Experienced Surgeons

The surgeons at SureVision Eye Centers are among the most experienced and well-trained in the world. Together they have performed thousands of surgical and laser vision correction procedures. All of our surgeons are certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. They have taught courses to other doctors all over the world, and our staff includes faculty members of Washington University, Saint Louis University, and The University of Missouri, St. Louis. Our vision correction surgeons are fellowship-trained, having completed extensive training as corneal and refractive surgery specialists.

Dedicated Surgery Centers and Laser Center

SureVision Eye Centers' two Affiliated Surgery Centers have been awarded the certificate of accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). The award means that our surgical facilities have met nationally recognized standards for quality care. In order to achieve accreditation, these surgery centers must undergo an extensive on-site survey of their facilities and services. The survey team, composed of physicians, nurses and administrators evaluates all aspects of patient care.

Our SureVision Laser Center is specially designed for vision correction. We have our own Excimer Laser to provide the widest possible range of treatment for vision correction. The air in our state-of-the-art surgery suite is specially filtered to remove tiny particles that could affect your vision. The entire surgical environment is constantly monitored to maintain strict humidity and temperature levels. This is vital for the laser equipment to work properly and accurately.

We routinely fit people with corneal scars, allergies, dry eyes, and degenerations like keratoconus. The technology for fitting contact lenses is now very advanced. SureVision is the only practice in the St. Louis metro area with three Orbscans, the most advanced instrument for measuring the contour of your corneas to give the best fit for your contact lenses.

Eye glasses, like contact lenses, come in many sizes and styles. Having the widest selection helps to give you an attractive frame that fits comfortably and looks sharp. SureVision has your eye doctor right there to be sure that your glasses are made to fit correctly and the lenses are optimal.
